BANGKOK – CHIANGMAI
Day 4
CHIANGMAI
Your visit starts with a picturesque drive through rural countryside to Elephant Nature Park. On the way you will learn about the rescued and orphaned elephants and their individual stories. At the park you will have the opportunity to spend time with the various herds. Many of these elephants have left behind a traumatic past and for the first time are able to form relationships with other elephants and rediscover their elephant nature.
Guests will have the chance to observe elephants as well as other rescued animals living free of fear amongst the natural surroundings of the sanctuary. There is no riding or bathing the elephants at ENP. Your visit helps to support our regional projects and allows us to provide ongoing care for our herd as well as make future rescues possible.
Start: 7:30am – 8:00am pickup from your Chiang Mai city hotel.
Feeding the Elephants: Hand fruit and vegetables to the elephants from the viewing platform. Observe the Herds: Take a walk around park with your guide and spend time watching the elephants interact and play within their herds.
